{"id":11,"date":"2010-09-02T16:27:01","date_gmt":"2010-09-02T16:27:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lighthousecg.com\/strategicconsultation\/"},"modified":"2020-01-22T21:03:19","modified_gmt":"2020-01-23T02:03:19","slug":"knowledge-and-skills","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/lighthousecg.com\/strategy\/knowledge-and-skills\/","title":{"rendered":"Knowledge &#038; Skills"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We have designed, organized and delivered workshops in all kinds of environments and for all kinds of people.\u00a0 Our workshop skills include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Public meetings<\/span> with stakeholders that often hold a different perspective and want to be heard.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Technical meetings<\/span> to make progress on complex issues such as approaches to fisheries management or climate\u00a0change.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Business development and strategic thinking meetings<\/span> for boards of directors and executive staff.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Team meetings and retreats. <\/span><\/li>\n<li>Small group <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">working sessions<\/span> to make real, in-room progress on the assignment.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Work planning<\/span> events to track, document and direct future effort.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Topical areas have included coastal and ocean management, recreational boating, food security and agriculture, tropical ecology, water and water rights, transparency in governance, conservancy and land protection, improving community services, and measures and monitoring. We believe that although content knowledge is important, it is the process is what drives change.
